Effective July 1, 2021, the maximum annual premium paid by individuals covered by the Public Prescription Drug Insurance Plan increased from $662 to $710.
The monthly deductible and co-insurance were maintained at $22.25 and 35%, respectively. The maximum annual contribution increased from $1,144 to $1,161.
Everyone in Quebec must have drug coverage at all times. Those eligible for the Maximum Benefit program are required to enroll and cover their spouse and children. All others must enroll in the public plan.
